Mont Blanc Coffee

A new favorite coffee drink: Mont Blanc Coffee! Iced citrus-y coffee topped with a velvety orange cold foam and garnished with fresh orange zest. Different, delicious, and refreshing.
This beautiful coffeehouse drink originated in Australia, but is named after snow-capped Mont Blanc, the highest mountain peak in Western Europe. If you squint, you can see the Alps, lol.
What makes this drink so different to me is the inclusion of fresh orange juice in the coffee and in the cold foam. Coffee and OJ are both consumed at breakfast, but usually not in the same drink. However! The pairing works surprisingly well.
My Citrus Cinnamon Coffee Spritzer includes a different citrus (lemon), and is further proof that the combo is truly delish!

Most of us are familiar with the steamed milk foam on top of hot coffee drinks, but cold foam is the equivalent for iced coffee drinks! It's light, silky, and whips up quickly.
The goal is to whip the cream until it is just thickened and is still pourable. It sits atop the iced drink and slowly descends into it as you sip away. Truly luxurious!

Lessons Learned
- Fresh orange juice is always best! But I get it, you might not have access to it, so buy the best quality OJ you can find.
- Pure maple syrup pairs well with the orange flavor, but a sugar-free simple syrup is delicious too!
- Love orange and vanilla together? Try my Blood Orange Vanilla Spritzer! It's a non-alcoholic drinkie that is so yummy.
