Description

Sweet, spicy, and creamy, an Iced Chai Latte is great for tea lovers! Made with just a handful of ingredients, including tea bags, any kind of milk, and topped with cold foam, this is a delicious coffee house-style drink without the coffee house price tag!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 6 ounces boiling water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk, any kind
  • Cold Foam
  • Garnish: ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the tea bags and water in a mug. Cover and let steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Let cool to room temp. This can be made ahead and refrigerated.
  2. Or to cool off the tea quickly, add 3 to 4 ice cubes to a shaker, add the hot tea, and shake for 20 seconds. Immediately strain the tea into a glass. Voila! The tea is cooled with minimal dilution.
  3. Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cooled tea and milk.
  4. Top with vanilla cold foam and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
