Description

Sweet, fresh, and just the right amount of spicy, Mango Salsa is a bright fruit salsa worth making! Made with fresh mango, tomato, onion, and three kinds of peppers, this salsa is a nice addition to any taco bar or chips-and-salsa situation.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 mango
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 poblano (or other mild green pepper)
  • 1 or 2 jalapenos
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the mango into small dice. Add to a medium bowl.
  2. Dice the red onion and tomato. Remove stems and seeds from bell pepper, poblano, and jalapenos. Chop into small pieces and add everything to the bowl.
  3. Finely chop the cilantro and add to the bowl along with lime juice. Stir everything together and taste. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt if you feel it needs it.
