Ingredients

Units Scale

Latte:

  • 1 teaspoon matcha tea powder (ceremonial grade preferred)
  • 2 Tablespoons warm or room temp water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 cup milk, any kind
  • Cold Foam recipe

Instructions

  1. Sieve the matcha through a fine mesh strainer into a small cup. Tip in the water and whisk with a bamboo matcha whisk or a handheld frother until thoroughly combined and no lumps remain. The mixture should be velvety smooth.
  2. Add ice cubes to fill half the glass. Pour in milk. Slowly pour in matcha in a circle over the milk.
  3. Pour or spoon the cold foam over the latte. Use the sieve to sprinkle on additional matcha as a garnish, if desired.
